Tudor History

Tudor was founded in 1926 to be a more affordable sub-brand of Rolex. Early on it was very popular with brands like the Catanach known for their Art Deco style. Early Tudors also bore many Rolex symbols on them to reassure customers of their quality. In 1932 , he first Tudors were sold in Australia showcasing the small brands early global reach. Over the decades Tudor produced many models, notably the Oyster Prince and Princess released in the 1950s but also the Tudor Submariner and several popular Tudor chronographs. Today, the Tudor Black Bay 58 takes the place of models like the Tudor Submariner in its catalogue. And it continues to be a sub-brand of Rolex.
