Caravelle History
While Bulova was founded in 1875, Caravelle was founded in 1962 as a more affordable sub-brand of Bulova and produced many interesting watch models especially in the 1970s. Caravelle watches retailed under $30 at the time of their release, having affordable jeweled movements that competed with its non-jewels counterparts. In 1968, Caravelle was the jeweled watch brand with the most sales in the United States.
